About Us

Welcome to Ichiyo Kensha, one of the first Hokkaido Ken breeding kennels in the UK. Our name Ichiyo Kensha comes form the Japanese sakura called ‘Ichiyo’ which has very pale white petals, and blooms in mid April, the same time we brought out foundation bitch Momo home in 2019! Momo means ‘peach’ in Japanese.
